About the Owner

My name is Amie Yelle, I'm the owner and designer for my company Colored By Amie LLC. My passion for design is something that has always been a part of me. I have been working in the design and color industry for over 12 years. I started my career as a color consultant for a large paint company where I would travel to homes and businesses to help assist in paint color selections for all sorts of projects. I quickly fell in love with color theory, interior design, and being a part of transforming spaces. After working as a color consultant for years I began running and managing the color consultation program for all of Rhode Island and most parts of Massachusetts. Starting my own design company in 2022, I can now help with all levels of design. I stay up to date with upcoming design and color trends by continuing extended courses at Rhode Island School of Design.
